This year’s BAFTA Cymru Awards Ceremony will celebrate its 18th Birthday and take place on Sunday 17 May, 2009 in the Wales Millennium Centre in the heart of Cardiff Bay.
The ceremony will bring a host of talent and celebrities from Wales to LA and heading up the presentations will be will be TV Presenter, Gethin Jones - an evening not to be missed!
The Welsh media industry will be out in force at the event which will see winners walk away with the coveted BAFTA Cymru mask in over 30 Programme, Craft and Performance categories - in addition to special presentations for the Sian Phillips Award, Gwyn Alf Williams and Lifetime Achievement Awards.
Ioan Gruffudd, winner of the 2008 "Sian Phillips Award" said of the 2008 awards ceremony "The BAFTA Cymru show was brilliant and I thought it was incredibly tasteful as well as brilliantly put together and highly entertaining".
