Two sightings in one day....

Yes, we've been watching Blue Peter - far too much bouncing that did not involve Mr Jones.....but nice to see Geth, as usual.

...and a rather boring programme on Radio 2 tonight, the highlight being little snippets of Geth, Alesha and Kenny...yay, Kenny!!

We understand Gethin has visited the new website - delighting us all, but making a certain web designer Gethin Girl rather ecstatic!!

He can fly a plane, fight a fire, shimmy through a salsa, make a dalek from old plastic kitchen things, leap over tall buildings (leap over tall buildings??)

Shamelessly sentimental??

We've been having a bit of a reminisce about favourite Geth and Camilla SCD moments - and our 'Offcial Animator' has made this one to remind us of the record-breaking, and beautifully smooth, American Smooth to Tom Jones' "Green Green Grass of Home".

OK, I am going to say it ------ they really should have been in the final!

Has Blue Peter ever been so popular?

Well, we all enjoyed watching Geth fighting fires yesterday - as Andy in the BP studio put it, 'that was hot stuff'.

We also worked out that this filming was done whilst Geth was training for Strictly! Good grief, Mr Jones!

We are unofficially official

'Gethin's Girls' have a seal of approval from the man himself for this blog and a full-blown website to follow.

Many thanks to Geth's agent, and to one of the 'Girls' for taking the plunge and asking on our behalf.

STRICTLY’S Gethin Jones is to try for an honorary Green Beret from the Royal Marine Commandos.
He’ll tackle their super-tough endurance test at their Devon HQ – including a six-mile obstacle course and marksmanship challenge – for Blue Peter.

In 2006 the 29-year-old was the first civilian to finish the Marines’ 30-mile yomp.
